Branding/Identity/Messaging: Media Guaranty

Challenge Media Guaranty, a venture-backed software startup focused on providing enterprise media asset management for corporate marketing organizations, needed an identity system capable of reflecting the company's commitment to the quality products it was developing for customers. The goal was to create an identity that would convey corporate values while differentiating the company from its competition.

BayCreative Solution BayCreative worked closely with principals at Media Guaranty to develop a logo and stationery system. The logo places an emphasis on the strong word "guaranty" and reinforces that strength with the use of the image of a building that is sturdy and stable. We helped to guide the client away from a preference for more flashy and trendy approaches, which the client originally thought would appeal to the target audience, those in creative and advertising agencies. This more conservative approach better presented the offering as a serious, safe solution for housing precious media assets. The roof of the house doubles as an upward-pointing arrow, indicating the increase in value that would result from customers using Media Guaranty's solution to care for and account for media assets. We carried through on the theme of quality, strength, and security by using of a particularly heavy stock for printing the business cards and corporate folder.
